Blog: We start 15 in the afternoon. Walk in low shoes and in ski boots the whole way up to Similaunhutte. Sleep ther in the winterroom. It´s was -25° to -30° and I have my 0° sleepingbag. But it was okej. Day two we ski up to Similaun and it was totally no wind at the top. Ski back in powder and walk back to the valley.

Blog: When I first saw this mountain the day before. I know it, I want to go there. Was little bit unsure because I was in the alps along. But I se tracks from two one the day before. Think to my self: just to follow tracks. After 30min I caught up a old man and lady and their dogs. I ski faster compare to them so I wait on the summit for them. The old man and his mountiandog was a Austrian mountians UIAGM guide. He say that the snow condition is safe. This big line was on 750 decent meters and on 40-45° steep. And todays conditions was 3-4 dm of fresh powdersnow. So easy and nice run.

Festkogel

Blog: One of the bigest in the area. We walk in shoes up the first 650 acsent. Then skiing up and down. Patrik Nordin have hard to find a way down in the steepness from the hut Similaunhutte, so I wait for 15 min and wonder if everything was ok? Up and down on 4:31.
